Medicaid is a federally funded program for those individuals who meet certain income and asset requirements. Medicaid is administered on the state level, and the rules and regulations for these programs vary from state to state. In Tennessee, the program is known as TennCare, and services for long-term care fall under the CHOICES program.
Long-term care is expensive, and paying for long-term care is usually one of the main concerns voiced by our clients. Frequently our clients have heard misleading or incorrect information, which only adds to their confusion in sorting through all of the decisions that have to be made. At Elder Law of Middle Tennessee, we work for our clients to stay aware of the ongoing changes in Medicaid regulations and requirements, and we take the uncertainty out of the process.
Each client's situation is unique. Therefore, we believe in creating customized solutions.
